Leadership Ecademy can tailor content presentation, specific to client needs including traditional full day instructor led training. For more efficient and less disruptive development, we recommend presenting leadership content via a series of one hour ‘High Impact’ instructor led sessions using a virtual classroom for the different Leadership and Soft Skill Competencies. All virtual classroom sessions are recorded for playback at a later time. Leadership Ecademy content has been developed by Instructional Systems Designers to not only present content but also structure relevant reflective and role playing exercises to reinforce competencies. Our intent is not to train leaders, it is to develop and prepare leaders by changing their behavior.
Sessions include topics such as Customer Focus, Timely Decision Making, Action Orientation, Informing and Communicating, Critical Thinking, Conflict Management, Motivating Others, Managing and Measuring Work, Problem Solving, Building Effective Teams, Emotional Intelligence, etc. and each session is supported by proprietary role playing and reflective exercises as well as a downloadable PowerPoint and PDF workbook for reference after the session. These documents contain not only the content and action plan development tools discussed in the session, but also include reference materials related to the topic that the client can explore deeper if necessary and gain further understanding as they begin to use their new skills to improve not only their performance but the performance of their organizations.
Leadership Ecademy has partnered with SkillFitness to provide an exclusive iPad app that links classroom role playing and reflective assignments to a reviewable exercise that can be accessed and reviewed by a leadership coach. The coach has an opportunity to review and respond to the assignment to confirm progress or to ask the student to make some adjustments and retry the assignment. This data is stored in our proprietary Leadership Engine©. The Leadership Engine© is a cloud-based portal that provides development dashboards to confidentially facilitate leadership development for both individuals and across organizations. It has dashboards that can be used by Clients, Coaches, Managers, Mentors, and Corporate HR personnel throughout all aspects of the leadership development process. It holds not only each Client’s historical exercise results from development activities, but also contains the assessment results and detailed action plans formulated to develop competencies in each desired leadership area. Each Client and their Coach can communicate via the Leadership Engine© confidentially about the overall development plan and the details regarding specific action items and projects.
Clients, Coaches, Supervisors, Mentors (both internal and external to the organization), and Company HR Representatives have access to specific pieces of data – managed by the Client or Coach on a “permissions” basis. Also unique to Leadership Ecademy is that this technology can be co-branded such that any organization can benefit from and facilitate their leadership development plans and detailed action plans for any or all of their employees through the use of the LE Leadership Engine©.
